For Virgie

Cry no more my souls set free,

Tears of sorrow that fall for me.

Heavens gate has opened wide,

Gods asked me to come inside.

It's beautiful here I can't complain,

No more sorrow no more pain.

I have to go now God awaits,

As I stand by the pearly gates.

Remember me always I 'll always be there,

In your thoughts and in your prayer.

I wrote this poem for my mom Linda and sister Sherry.

They knew Virgie and my sister was good friends with her.

Virgie worked for Walt Disney Florida where she met my family.

She was a very special lady

I got to meet her and she was a very nice lady,she was funny and full of life.

She had alot of spirit.Virgie was a very tiny lady.

I couldn't believe that I was actually bigger, taller than someone.

I thought it was really cool meeting her.

She had a battle with cancer just like my grandmother

and it took her from all of us just like it took my grandmother away from us.

This is another reason I am so determined to help fight against cancer.

Cancer has taken the lives of so many people in this world.

So many innocent people battle against this disease everyday.

Some are lucky and the win the fight against cancer

but some people are not as fortunite.

This is why I want a chance to make a difference.

I want to be able to help someone.

I would love to be able to save a life.

I want people to see, if we all come together we could all help make a difference.

We are all living on borrowed time but we dont have to give up without a fight.
