Her Hero
Her Hero
Joyful and Careless
This little grils sways.
Beautiful and pixie sweet,
She laughs through the days.
With a ponytail tossing,
And her cute button eyes.
She knew in her heart,
She was her daddy's prize.
Because
Her daddy's her hero,
Her daddy's her king.
But he is so much more,
He's her everthing.
No longer careless,
His little girl is grwoing up.
From dressing up dolls,
and playing with toys.
Now she's going to malls,
and talking 'bout boys.
Slowly, so slowly, unnoticed they start,
Farther and farther growing apart.
But still.
Her daddy's her hero,
Her daddy's her king.
But he is so much more,
he's her everything.
From brusied knees,
to broken hearts,
He'll know what to to.
He picks up the pieces,
and uses love as the glue.
Because
Her daddy's a hero.
Her daddy's a king,
But he is so m
uch more,
He's her everything,
Everything.

This poem is written for every little girl, who loved her daddy. Who was his little girl, his little princess. That once upon a time, when love never faded, there was just you and your dad. When you had not a care in the world, and you wanted to do was see your daddy, and give him a great big hug. When you saw him walking towards you and all you could ever think of was how strong your daddy was. And how there was nobody else like him in the whole wide world. oR maybe this is for the daddy's out there who treated ther little princess she truly grew up to be. It is because of you that we as girls dare to dream, and when we think of our "knight in shining armor" we firmly say "I want him to be just like my daddy!" or "poor guy he is going to have to get through my dad to get to me!" Well just know that your love is not in vain, and that girls are not born princess, but born daughters. And if you treat them like a daughter, they will grow up to be princesses. :)
