Reading

I just wanted to let you guys know about some books that have really been keeping me away from boredom and also inpiring me to start attempting to write my own book. I've wanted to write my own book for years now, and I'm really hoping this time is for real. So, this time around, I'm really taking my time and not trying to rush the process. I'm always not worrying about spelling and sentense structure. I'm just letting the words flow and seeing where they're taking me.

I remember always learning in school to come up with the characters and the story line first, but I'm not doing it that way this time. I find it too difficult to keep up with and confusing. I'm just doing a very, very long rough draft haha!

The list of books that have been helping me along this journey:

By Stephanie Meyer: Twil
ight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn

I'm also very interested in Alice Sebold. She has the books called: The Lovely Bones, Lucky and The Almost Moon. I haven't read all of these, but I've skimmed these ones and the revies have been wonderful!! I'm very excited, but I don't want to read more than one book at a time, because I'm worried I'd get too confused.

So, I was really hoping for some feedback from all of you. Are there any ideas you have, what type of book you would like me to write, so that one day you could possibly read? Is there anything that inspires you that maybe would help me in this long process? Any music I could listen to, anything of that nature?

What books have inspired you? Who are your favorite authors. I'm very curious to find out. So ya, definately keep in touch with me and post a comment any time! Thanks for reading guys!

Well the most memorable books for me up to now have been the Inheritance books (Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr). I also read the Harry Potter books. Basically, if it's fantasy, I'd read it. Haven't read a good fantasy book in a while though. :(

I really liked your article. I'd also like to read your book when it's published.

Judging by the quality of this article, any book you write will need lots of editing before it will be readable by the public. I recommend that you read more high-quality literature- NOT Stephanie Meyer. Read books that have good substance and style, not just books that are popular.

Also, practice, practice, practice, and realize that after all that practice your writing will probably still not be great.
