Interesting point. I personally have found getting out in nature if possible, bird chirping, the park, can bring about a personal balance center point for relaxation and focus. But ambient music CD's/mp3s can help find that place if travel and time are issues. Have you tried the Sedona Method yet? I have and its great to help meditate.
